Assembly

We assemble machines, installations and constructions.
We also undertake overhauls, modifications and maintenance work. Thanks to our wide experience and our innovative approach, our strength mainly lies in special-purpose machines, i.e., the assembly of small series and single items. This may include (self) propelled equipment or stationary installations, prototypes or testing machines, transport systems or complete production lines.
All our mechanics have the required qualifications and extensive experience in the field of mechanics, pneumatics/hydraulics, electricity and control technology.

Internal assembly facilities
Our modern factory has a large assembly hall, 25 metres in length, 18 metres wide and 7 metres high. The large variety of tools and equipment allows us to carry out a wide range of assembly work. We have a range of lifting and hoisting equipment, including forklift trucks with capacities of up to 5 tonnes as well as overhead cranes, machine lifting equipment and conveyor rollers up to a capacity of 20 tonnes.

External assembly facilities
Also when working at external or international locations, our competent mechanics have the tools and equipment needed for efficient assembly, overhaul and maintenance. Besides facilities such as assembly trucks, forklift trucks and scaffold trucks, Westerhof B.V. also uses tool trolleys and mobile (container) workshops.

                                                               SCC - Our customers increasingly require our mechanics to be SCC certified when working at external locations. SCC stands for Safety Checklist for Contractors. Its aim is to have people work safer and healthier and to reduce the number of accidents. The SCC certificate is accepted all over Europe. Machinefabriek Westerhof is SCC certified, which automatically implies that all our mechanics have completed the SCC training. Of course, our mechanics also have the necessary forklift truck, scaffold truck and lifting certificates as well as NEN 3140 and H2S certificates.
